I draw and paint because I want to express myself beyond words, which often confine meaning and diminish the richness and plurality of emotion.

Si dibujo y pinto es porque deseo expresarme más allá de las palabras, que con frecuencia delimitan en exceso el significado y reducen la pluralidad de las emociones.
La pintura abstracta permite evocar estados emocionales difíciles de describir verbalmente. En mi trabajo conviven varias corrientes: una luminosa y lírica; otra más atormentada e incluso oscura; y una tercera de carácter lúdico.
